Family-focused SEND Mentoring & Support
Because the SEND system doesn't come with a manual
Navigating SEND can feel overwhelming. I understand first-hand how difficult it can be to balance education, appointments, meetings, referrals, education systems, paperwork and everyday family life with a child with SEND.
I offer practical mentoring to help parents understand systems, organise information and advocate confidently for their children.
Together we'll build the foundations for
✓ Confidence
✓ Knowledge
✓ Child-centred outcomes
I've spent years navigating the same complex systems and I've completed courses in parenting and understanding neurodivergent children. But nothing has taught me more than living through it myself. The journey has shown me how people can flourish in the right environment, but also what to do when the systems designed to support you, fail.

Testimonials: SEND Mentoring & Support
Here's what some of the families I've supported have shared about their experience.
Kristin Ocampo
"When I first moved to the UK, I had very little understanding of the SEND system or how best to support my son.
Rachel explained things clearly, shared her own experiences, and helped me feel much more confident advocating for my son. She listened without judgement, offered practical advice, and helped me make sense of what can often feel like an overwhelming and confusing system. The information you need isn't always obviously available, so to have someone who was able to help me filter out the noise was invaluable.
Because of her support, I feel far more informed about my son's needs, his rights and the options available to us. She has genuinely helped me feel less alone on our SEND journey."

"Taking on the world of SEND without Rachel is like exploring a cave without a torch, it's dark, confusing and easy to feel lost.
Rachel was there at the very start of my SEND journey. She guided me through everything, explained things clearly and often answered questions before I'd even thought to ask them. She made things feel much more manageable as soon as she stripped it back to focusing only on what might happen now, and what could be next.
I was able to communicate the things that mattered much more clearly after talking things through with her. She's the reason I haven't given up, and the reason I won't.
If you're trying to navigate SEND, having someone who understands the system and genuinely cares makes all the difference."
Amy Long
''Rachel is one of those people who leaves such an impression on you.
Her attention to detail, vision and the care she puts in, is incredible. She has a strong sense of justice and genuinely cares about getting things right. Rachel is intelligent and insightful, but also approachable, always willing to talk something through, for as long as it takes!
It’s clear why Rachel was successful in her previous work, but the experience she's had with her children has added a unique and valuable perspective. She brings together professional knowledge with a level of understanding, empathy and determination that's so impactful.
She’s also funny and warm. I feel very lucky to work alongside her and would recommend her without hesitation."
